Sports TV Bay Area reports San Francisco 49ers will allow disgruntled cornerback Shawntae Spencer to seek a trade. After losing his starting job while nursing a hamstring injury in training camp, Shawntae Spencer had fallen to the No. 5 cornerback by the end of the season. He had worn Super Bowl XLVI Jerseys and started 32 consecutive games from 2009-2010. Due $3.3 million in 2012, the 30-year-old is not going to attract much interest on the trade market.
