It’s from the soundtrack to “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”In the late 1940s, I saw a movie about a villain who kept a captive in an underground room. The room had a chair and a bathtub. The captive was chained and unable to escape, and the villain, who I believe might have been Robert Newton, would come to this room every day with a container of acid and dump it into the tub. I believe the intent was to murder the captive and dissolve his body in the acid to eliminate the evidence.
