another attention-grabbing month for Hollywood
It's been another attention-grabbing month for Hollywood with a ton of interesting industry news bits.January saw everything from legislative battles over internet piracy, to incessant whining about DVD such as X Files Season 9 sales by a self-absorbed movie studio, to legislative debates over a Facebook app.I thought the biggest news this month was the Internet piracy battle between Silicon Valley web giants and Hollywood movie studios relating to movies such as The West Wing Seasons 1-7 DVD boxset and Frasier Seasons1-11 DVD boxset.
